Brain Research Trust refreshed
A new image to help accelerate the progress of brain research and improve the lives of those living with neurological conditions
In 1971 Brain Research Trust was established to fund neurological research at UCL Institute of Neurology, London where we have since funded over £45 million into world-class research.
In December 2015 we broadened our charitable objects enabling us to fund the best neurological research at centres of excellence throughout the UK.
To support our new ambitions and to raise awareness and vital funds so we can help more people living with a neurological condition we have an exciting new look and focus.
Research showed that our old brand wasn’t inspiring and was perceived as exclusive.
- Unity: We believe that we’re stronger when we bring people together. Scientists and supporters, patients and families, side by side, stride by stride;
- Humanity: We link the brain research we fund to its human impact, by sharing real-life stories. We translate our research into words that everyone can easily understand;
- Positive energy: Active. Courageous. Resolute. We’re determined to accelerate the progress of brain research. We’re positive and upbeat.
The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It weighs just 3lb, yet it controls our emotions, senses and actions. Every single one of them. It is how we process the world around us. So when it breaks down, we break down.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
There are hundreds of neurological conditions. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected.
We inspire scientists and families to come together, side by side, stride by stride.
Help loved ones live better, longer. Let’s unite to accelerate the progress of brain research. Today.
